Neighborhoods
NSY Portsmouth Homes is comprised of two distinct neighborhoods and serves Active Duty military personnel stationed at Portsmouth Naval Shipyard. The Admiralty Village neighborhood is also open to other qualified applicants, as indicated below. Admiralty Village
- Beds: 2 – 4
- Baths: 1 – 2.5
- Eligibility: All ranks; military retirees; DOD employees; general public
The Admiralty Village neighborhood is located just off the base and offers two, three and four-bedroom homes featuring a fully-equipped kitchen, ample closets and storage space, patio/deck and carport. Residents in Admiralty Village enjoy water views and close proximity to multiple playgrounds and basketball and tennis courts.

As the name implies, the On-Base neighborhood is conveniently located on base and near the Exchange, Commissary and base gym. This neighborhood offers a variety of spacious two, three, four, five and six-bedroom floor plans featuring outdoor lounge and entertaining space, water views, fully-equipped kitchen and more. Residents here also enjoy their own playground area.
